Gene Nix is an IT executive with over 16 years of experience in information technology and management consulting. He has held key roles in all phases of the software development life cycle ranging from strategy generation to requirements definition through systems development, testing, and post-production support. Gene is versatile, hands-on and results-driven with a proven ability to solve complex business problems. He has deep expertise in the communications, high-tech, and education industries.
In February of 2020, Cognizant acquired Code Zero Consulting, and ATG had the distinct pleasure of welcoming the Code Zero team to the ATG family.
Gene had previously co-founded Code Zero with Criss Vanderburg and Robert Freeland.
When he isn’t on the phone or behind a big, beautiful wall of computer monitors, Gene enjoys spending time outside with his wife and kids. He took a yearlong sabbatical to sail around the Caribbean in 2012, which you should ask him about next time you see him. He is also a rabid Georgia Bulldogs fan.
