About

Missoula

“Nestled in the Northern Rockies of Montana, surrounded by seven wilderness areas and at the confluence of three rivers, Missoula is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. You can kayak, raft or tube through downtown or take a relaxing hike in 60,000 acres of wilderness minutes from your hotel. Missoula is known for its blue-ribbon trout fishing (made famous by A River Runs Through It) and spectacular natural beauty. The outdoor recreational opportunities are limitless.“

Think

Rivers

Whether you fly fish, cast fish, or just tie a piece of string to a stick, the world is your, oyster, er… trout. Rivers, streams, and creeks (cricks, if you’re local) abound in our little piece of paradise. A word to the wise, however – the fish are the size of school buses here so bring the entire office with you to help reel them in.

Think

Mountains

Billions and billions of miles of mountain and valley trails in the Missoula area await both the hardy and foolhardy hiker. But be warned, take the pork chop out your pocket before you leave to avoid having a Revenant moment. Either way, it’s a great story to take back to the office with you.

Think

Reinvigoration

Missoula is the quintessential rat race off-ramp. Wide open spaces, clean mountain air (most months), and a pace of life just north of Mayberry calms the soul and quiets the mind. Life in Missoula takes the Work Hard, Play Hard adage to new heights, and is immediately apparent within ATG’s Missoula offices.

Think

Connections

ATG’s Quote 2 Cast Summit is the perfect event to build deep connections with peers, clients, and partners. There’s something special that happens after spending a day on the river or the mountain with folks that share common interests. Maybe it’s the majestic beauty of the area. Maybe it’s the idea of teaming together – sort of a Us vs. Nature thing. Or maybe it’s just good cold beer on a warm day. Regardless, it’s palpable.

Wanted to send a quick note to say THANK YOU for the wonderful hospitality meted out to us during our stay in Missoula! The whole process was not only smooth but had a personal touch which makes a big difference! You personally ensured we were able to go fishing and zip lining – really appreciate that! Use of the office for taking calls and meetings was super productive.

The summit was great and very informative – has been a long time since I attended a small session where we were able to listen to folks in person. Not the same experience when you are Dreamforce with 100K+ folks!

Breakfast – the most important meal of the day before lunch and after last night’s dinner. If you’re going to grab a bite before hitting the office, which is a good idea because Jay Allen will most likely have eaten all the doughnuts, these are the top places your food-deprived feet can carry you in and around downtown.
